I'm an abnormal person struggling to figure out how to do traditional things. All of the sudden I have a baby, we're buying a house, and we're trying to start a business -- and I've lived 30 years of my life as a dreamer.

I showed this to Mike and here's what he said.
M: "I loved that movie when I was little"
E: "I'm posting it".
M: "No."
M: "Well, I only loved it because there were kids in it."
M: "Did you post it? Did you write that I said that I liked it becuase there were kids in it?"
(continuing conversation)
M: "Can you imagine if we remade that movie, exactly, for our next film project? Except with you and I in it? Did you write that in there?"
M: Someone remade Raiders of the Lost Arc, line by line, and it took 20 years."
E: They did?
M: "They started when they were teenagers and I imagine they got better at it as they continued the movie. In the beginning it's probably cardboard bolders and at the end it's special effects."
M: "What's really weird is how much they talk about blogs on the radio. Some of the people that write them are really powerful, but they weren't anyone before they started their blogs. Like political blogs and stuff."
E: "Really, I had no idea."
M: "Yeah. It's sweeping the nation." (makes a little Ernie like "keeh keeh keeh"laugh)

M: Why are you putting all that. It's so boring. Can you be done?
Elis...that is one of my favorite movies. I'm not even kidding. I used to watch it obsessively; I've seen it like 10 times.
Weird.
I love that I can picture this conversation.
My mom likes this movie a lot. Both Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn kind of weird me out. I don't know why. : )
This movie is always on Tv when I am in the Garson houshold.
