I like her husband,
but I think my cousin should separate from him. He's destructive and verbally abusive. While they're separated, they can both get counseling.
What do you think of separation.

But is separation really breaking a covenant if they're separating with the intention of trying to make it work...
They should both agree on the separation, I don't think it is a sin.
i agree, separation usually leads to divorce. Still, I think it is sometimes necessary so people can figure things out without the constant presence or influence of their partners.
